My boyfriend got us tickets for the Monkey on 21 November only to find the show was cancelled due to poor ticket sales. He was really upset at that time and so was I.
It was me who really wanted to see the show so, although my boyfriend is not into any theatre stuff, he had bought me the tickets as a present. So he was so upset by the news of cancellation, especially, we even took one day off from work to see the matinee.
It was in November and as we were so upset, we opted for refund rather than getting the tickets for a new date.
Then, I forgot about it until yesterday when I saw that some website was offering the half price tickets for the monkey. I told my boyfriend about it and he got very upset again.....as apparently, he bought the new tickets for 28 December as a surprise Christmas present for me and of course, he paid for the full price.
Then, today, lastminute.com is offering 10pounds tickets for the show.
I am not going to tell my boyfriend about this and hoping that he will never find out about such ridiculous offer.
But surely, this is not fair! Is it?
I am so so so unhappy about this.
