Following a summer of Monkey in the 2008 Olympics and a sold-out season at London’s Royal Opera House in July, Monkey: Journey to the West will move to a new home in November.
The opera will be performed at Monkey’s World, a specially designed theatre built exclusively to host the opera at the O2. The bespoke tent, created by the Monkey team, will feature its’ own restaurant, bar and even a Chinese foot massage parlour.

Journey to the West, Album Limited Edition Boxset Read More Limited to 2,000 copies worldwide, the new boxset will contain 6 exclusive new tracks, an 84 page Monkey art book and 4 exclusive Jamie Hewlett art prints, each stamped and numbered and one print dated and signed by Jamie Hewlett.
The box sets are priced at £250, available to order from Sept 22 and will be dispatched early November. The first 500 orders will also receive a custom-made special limited edition Monkey Om Box, with tones composed by Damon Albarn and design by Jamie Hewlett.
